He focuses on the specialized areas of European studies, Central and Eastern European Studies, European Union Integration Studies, China-EU relations, and EU-US relations.Marek Hrubec is the Senior Research Fellow focusing on global studies, political philosophy, and the China-Europe-US relations in global interactions and tensions. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.Yan Shaohua is the Associate Professor and Deputy Director at the Center for China-Europe Relations, Fudan University, Shanghai, where he teaches and researches EU political economy, China-Europe relations, and transatlantic relations.
