Loukas Tsoukalis is Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission. He is Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration at the University of Athens, President of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy, and Visiting Professor at the College of Europe. He is member of advisory councils of several European think tanks and international journals. is author of many books and articles on European and international affairs, including The New European Economy and What Kind of Europe?, which were published by Oxford University Press and translated into several European languages.Janis A. He is a Senior Policy Analyst at the European Policy Centre in Brussels.
