This is the first time Chard and Lux have collaborated in producing a children's picture book. Chard has previously written and self-published a series of fantasy books as well as having a Thriller published in 2015. Lux is a professional illustrator and has worked for a major advertising and PR agency for some years now. Chard fell in love with the Philippines when he first visited and was inspired by the real Teacup to tell these stories. They are both dog lovers and will collaborate again on more Teacup Books in the future.
