Lauren Ilbury is an Essex based author and the Managing Director and Founder of RomaReads Publishing. She studied BA Drama and MA Theatre Practice at the University of Essex, and enjoys diving into the psychology of various characters, both in writing and acting. She started writing her first book in quarantine, and began the process of starting up a publishing company soon after. She can often be found removing her cat, Roma, from her laptop's keyboard. When she's not doing that, she can be found reading books or playing story based and horror video games.
