Hugh Lupton has worked as a professional storyteller for seventeen years. In 1985, he was a co-founder of the highly influential Company of Storytellers. He has performed throughout Britain, as well as in North and South America, Europe and Africa, telling stories from many cultures. He has a particular passion for Greek, Celtic, Norse and Anglo-Saxon mythological tales, for ballads and for stories of his native East Anglia, England Niamh Sharkey graduated in 1994 with First Class Honors from the College of Marketing and Design, Dublin. She was chosen as "Student of the Year" in the Graphics category by the Society of Designers in Ireland. Since then, she has worked for Irish publishers and newspapers and various graphic design companies. She has also traveled extensively and completed the illustrations for this book while living in Australia. Niamh Sharkey currently lives in Dublin, Ireland.
