Graham Barrett is Assistant Professor of Early Medieval European History at Durham University, and studies Latin literacy, language, and literature in early medieval Iberia. He is a keen editor and translator of texts from Late Antiquity, including in the field of Christian–Muslim relations.Louise J. Wilkinson is Professor of Medieval Studies at the University of Lincoln, specializing in women and their written records in thirteenth-century England. She is a former general editor of the Pipe Roll Society, and now chairs its council, while co-editing the Lives of Royal Women series.
