Graham Barrett is Assistant Professor of Early Medieval European History at Durham University, and studies Latin literacy, language, and literature in early medieval Iberia. He is a keen editor and translator of texts from Late Antiquity, including in the field of Christian-Muslim relations.Louise J. Wilkinson is Professor of Medieval Studies at the University of Lincoln, specializing in women and their written records in thirteenth-century England. She is a former general editor of the Pipe Roll Society, and now chairs its council, while co-editing the Lives of Royal Women series.
