Steve and Bindi Irwin

Steve Irwin, an Australian wildlife conservationist, brought adventure and the wilderness to television with his wildly popular TV show, The Crocodile Hunter. Known for his hands-on approach in dealing with all kinds of wild animals-the dangerous to the poisonous included-Irwin was tragically killed after a stingray barb pierced his chest while taping a show segment in 2006.
