State of the Art in Computer Graphics

This is the third volume derived from the State of the Art Research Institute in Computer Graphics held at the University of Edinburgh each year. This edition differs markedly from the earlier books in that all of the material actually covers state-of-the-art research topics - there is no introductory material. Topics covered include: Graphics Algorithms for Parallel Machines, Radiosity, Interpolation for Polygon Texture Mapping and Shading, Modelling Tolls, Combinational Solid Geome try. All of the contributions are by internationally renowned researchers, and this volume will be welcomed by other researchers, as well as university professors, graduate students, and computer graphics practitioners (programmers and systems engineers).
