State of the Art in Computer Graphics

This book is derived from the State of the Art Research Institute in Computer Graphics held in Reading, England in July 1992. Only state of the art research topics are covered. Every summer top researchers in Computer Graphics convene to share recent research results and train other researchers in theory, new technologies, or techniques. Only state of the art research topics are covered. Topics include: visualization of data; modeling; virtual reality techniques, hardware architectures for visualization. Papers given at this conference comprise this book. Many papers present a background introduction to the topic, followed by discussion of current work in the topic.
