Soul of a Patriot, or, Various Epistles to Ferfichkin

Set in Moscow between the 1982 celebrations for the October Revolution and the death and funeral of Brezhnev, this epistolary novel, through the narrator's reported attempts to visit various friends on the day of the funeral, creates a rumbustious social history of Russia since the Revolution.
