Professor Ira Bogotch is recently retired from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL, USA, where he worked for 25 years. His research focuses on the socio-cultural intersections of leadership for social justice as well as different modes of inquiry, and critiquing hegemonic bureaucratic structures. He served on many editorial and advisory boards of scholarly journals and book series.Professor Carolyn M. Shields is retired from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA. She is the Past President of the Commonwealth Council of Educational Administration and Management. Her career has focused on cross-cultural understanding of international and democratic school leadership. Dr. Shields has authored many books related to transformative leadership and social justice and serves on editorial and advisory boards of scholarly journals.
