Zuo-Yu Sun is the director of the Hydrogen Energy Laboratory (Beijing Jiaotong University, China) and a professor of the Department of Energy and Power Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University. He is a fellow of Beijing Institute of Thermophysics and Energy Engineering (BITEE), a member of the Hydrogen and Carbon Neutrality Subcommittee (BITEE), a member of the Dual Carbon Industry Cooperation Branch Committee (China Energy Research Association), an editorial board member of “sustainability” (ISSN: 2071-1050) on the subject of “Energy Sustainability”, an editorial advisory member of “Chinese Journal of Urban and Environmental Studies” (English Journal, ISSN: 2345-7481), and a member of the Combustion Institute. He has over 80 journal and conference publications in hydrogen energy involving research in natural and social sciences. Eight of his journal articles had been indexed as ESI articles, and the h-index is 31 (Scopus) with more than 2,570 citations until Feb 2025.Dr. Prodip Das is an associate professor in Hydrogen Energy Systems with a broad research portfolio focused on energy conversion and storage. His primary research interests include the thermofluid dynamics of Li-ion batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, electrolyzers, flow batteries, and related systems. Additionally, he investigates the safety, health, and environmental challenges associated with electric vehicle batteries. Dr. Das has authored over 130 peer-reviewed articles, seven book chapters, and six books, covering topics such as hydrogen fuel cells, Li-ion batteries, convective heat transfer, and multi-physics modeling. Notably, he is the author of the invited book Fuel Cells for Transportation: Fundamental Principles and Applications. His work has accumulated more than 4,300 citations, resulting in an h-index of 31. Beyond his research, Dr. Das serves as an Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage, Frontiers in Energy Research, and Frontiers in Chemical Engineering.
