DEBORAH ELLIS is the author of The Breadwinner, which has been published in 30 languages and made into an Oscar-nominated film. She has won the Governor General’s Award, the Middle East Book Award, the Peter Pan Prize, the Jane Addams Children’s Book Award and the Vicky Metcalf Award. A recipient of the Order of Canada, Deborah has donated more than $2 million in royalties to organizations such as Right to Learn Afghanistan, Mental Health Without Borders and UNHCR. She lives in Simcoe, Ontario.TONY NASH is a trained film and theatre actor based out of Toronto, of Egyptian and Armenian-Greek descent. He first began acting as a child as a means of keeping himself and his family entertained and in high school was awarded best male performance at the Sears regional One-Act Play Festival. He has since had recurring and guest star roles on shows such as Suits, Blood & Treasure, Condor and The Transplant. He has also narrated the audio book, DeNiro's Game by Rawi Hage. He is fluent in Arabic, French and Spanish
