Karen takes the student beyond the memorization of vocabulary and chants. She equips the student with all she needs to be able to read and write simple Latin stories early in the study of Latin. Karen Craig's strong linguistic background is very evident in her "picture-approach" to learning language and her systematic way of guiding the teacher and student. Having had my third grade son complete this material, I highly recommend Matin Latin as a first text in the pursuit of Latin.
