Magdalena Abakanowicz. The splendid artist of the 1960`s

It is an artist influenced by a dramatic and often tragic background and lived through different political tensions in Poland, so that also the political, psychological background is important for the understanding of the work of Abakanowicz. In this essay only a short overview can be given, but the spectrum of her work is much more extensive.
