Last Mission to Paris

In London, 1966, three women, covert operatives during WWII, and the daughter of a fourth, search for the long-buried truth about the betrayal behind the wartime death of a fellow agent. During WWII, four women from vastly different backgrounds, recruited as agents for the Special Operations Executive (SOE), became bonded through triumph and tragedy. But on a final, fateful mission to France, they are betrayed, captured, and one of them, the beautiful and enigmatic Gabrielle Lupin, was executed by the Gestapo. Twenty years later, amid the rush and wildness of the 60s, the extraordinary work done by women in the war is finally coming to light. When the sudden death of a leading war historian and a mysterious letter push Gabrielle's daughter to investigate what really happened, she has to team up with her mother's old comrades. Once united by the war, these three women's lives couldn’t be more different. Flip, a Southern Belle with a prosthetic leg, is now married and well off, while Zaina, an Indian Londoner and former wireless operator, writes popular children’s books; and the fabulous Bella left behind her expertise in explosives for fiery love affairs as an iconic dancer and singer. Together, all four women discover dangerous secrets that threaten their friendship and reveal a conspiracy behind that last, fateful and deadly last mission to Paris. A conspiracy that unseen forces will stop at nothing to keep secret.
