Dr. Aide Aracely Maldonado Macías. She is currently a full-time Professor-Investigator at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) and was the President of the Mexican Ergonomics Society (2022-2024), as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Latin-American Ergonomics Union. Her research interests include evaluation and ergonomic design, cognitive ergonomics, anthropometric studies, and studies on work-related stress. Additionally, she focuses on Ergonomic Evaluation for the Supply Chain, Critical Success Factors for Ergonomics implementation, Multicriteria and Multi-attribute decision-making, utilizing fuzzy logic and axiomatic design, as well as ergonomic evaluation for the selection of advanced manufacturing technology (AMT), and Structural Equation Modeling. She has also collaborated on other books and book chapters. She received the 2018 State Science and Technology Award and the “Chihuahuense Destacada” distinction in the field of science in Mexico. She is recognized as an investigator SNI 2 by the National Science and Technology Institute.Yordán Rodríguez, PhD, CPE, is a Full Professor and Senior Researcher at the National School of Public Health, University of Antioquia, Colombia. Additionally, he is the CEO of Ergoyes, a startup dedicated to advancing ergonomics through digital and AI technologies.Dr. Rodríguez holds a PhD in Ergonomics and Master’s degrees in Human Resource Management and Occupational Risk Prevention. He has authored over 60 scientific publications and delivered more than 150 invited lectures at international congresses. He holds the Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) designation from the BCPE and serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Professional Ergonomics (FPE) in the USA. Furthermore, he is a Full Member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) and an Honorary Member of the Chilean Foundation for Patient Safety.He is a recipient of the Cuban Academy of Sciences National Award and the HFES International Ergonomics Month Competition award.Dr. Juan Luis Hernández Arellano is a distinguished professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), where he specializes in the critical fields of ergonomics and occupational health. With a robust academic background culminating in a PhD, he is recognized as a Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and possesses the PRODEP profile, highlighting his commitment to high-quality education and scientific production.Dr. Hernandez has contributed extensively to the discipline through impactful research focused on advanced ergonomic design, industrial risk assessment, and comprehensive occupational safety strategies. His work primarily aims to optimize human well-being and system performance in complex environments. Bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, he also serves as the Founder and CEO of ErgoTech Mexico. In this executive role, he leads initiatives to implement ergonomic solutions in the industry, demonstrating a unique balance of academic rigor and entrepreneurial leadership.
