Jen Hayes Lee is an author, passionate content strategist, and marketing executive dedicated to creating culturally relevant and inclusive storytelling. She has stewarded media and fashion brands by fostering community and inspiring action through authentic connections. Recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 by her alma mater, Emory University, she attended Goizueta Business School and later earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business as a Consortium Academic Fellowship recipient. A proud New Orleanian, Jen now resides in South Orange, New Jersey, with her husband, Clyde, and their three sons, who have affectionately bestowed her with the title of Queen Mommy. The Golden Hoops is her debut picture book. Mokshini is a multidisciplinary artist and the illustrator of Faith Takes the Train and The Golden Hoops. Her creative output ranges from painting to concept sketching to editorial collaborations and textile design. In Mokshini’s work, you can find her signature witty yet sophisticated take on daily life in the city, which is born of her whimsical portrayal of characters and a passion for storytelling. The inspiration she gets from everyday elements of New York City—its residents' eccentric personalities, the fashion, the architecture—are why New Zealander Mokshini now calls Brooklyn home.
