Field Guide to the Reptiles and Amphibians of Singapore

Law Ing Sind isone of the six co-founders of the Herpetological Society of Singapore –together with Law Ingg Thong, Serin Subaraj and Sankar Ananthanarayanan. He is aconservationist and a zoology graduate from the University of Reading. Hisinterest in the natural world was piqued when he was young, having his very ownsighting of a snake feeding on a toad at the tender age of 10. Law Ingg Thong is a zoology graduate from the University of Reading andhas spent the past few years helping as an independent researcher incomprehensive biodiversity surveys and other research projects aroundSingapore. Shivaram Rasu is an EnvironmentalStudies graduate from the National University of Singapore. Currently he is anenvironmental consultant who is keen to apply his passion for conservation andherpetology in solving biodiversity challenges in an ever-changing landscape. Serin Subaraj is a masters graduate from the University of Curtin. Hehas worked as a Wildlife Consultant and field biologist in environmentalconsultancy since 2008, conducting a vast array of surveys and fieldwork aroundmany countries in Southeast Asia. SankarAnanthanarayanan has always been passionate about herpetology,conservation biology and science communication. As the first president of HSShe often found himself using the skills from all three fields in tandem toefficiently lead and further the goals of the society. Sankar is currentlypursuing a PhD in the National University of Singapore studying the theoreticalpopulation dynamics of reintroduced reptiles
