In an era of interlocking planetary crises, how can we kindle an imagined future that is better than today? Feminist Dream Labs invites scholars and activists to reflect on their own daily practices and to articulate their dreams of better caring relations that centre community and build resilience for crises.The result is a critical compilation that examines how we enact care in a post-Covid era and contemplates alternatives. Contributors analyze caring activities in a range of institutional and community settings. From prison abolition to trans health and inclusion, from protecting non-human species to putting dinner on the table, the essential work of those who care is shaping the future of culture and community despite the fatigue and anger of our times.Feminist Dream Labs utilizes a framework of feminist, anti-racist, and Indigenous thought to ask how our everyday caring practices might shape a more inclusive future.
