EWA BOBROWSKA is a sociologist and head of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Andragogy of the Jagiellonian University. Her academic interests are the social foundations of democracy, discourse analysis – methodological problems and individual research, and social pedagogy as a form of civic education.DOROTA GIERSZEWSKI is an adjunct at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Andragogy at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Her research and academic interests encompass andragogy, civic education, and civic society. She is the author of numerous academic publications and research papers on these topics, and she collaborates with nongovernmental organizations and research and educational institutions in Poland and abroad.JULIA KLUZOWICZ is a doctor of social sciences in the field of pedagogy. She works at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Andragogy at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University. She is interested in the broadly understood animation of culture in the anthropological perspective, with an emphasis on theatrical initiatives geared towards the development of local communities. She is also involved in animation practice, focused around the theater and visual arts, which complements and inspires her scholarly activity.
