Gordon McKechnie was educated at the International School of Geneva and the University of Oxford, where he read Philosophy, Politics and Economics. His interest in the interaction of worldviews and ideas with culture, politics and the arts is longstanding. Following a career in finance and consulting, he worked for HM Treasury and held non-executive roles with the OECD, the Department for Education and Tearfund. He has travelled widely and interacted with a range of religions and expressions of Christianity, including their celebrations and festivals. Drawing on these travels, he has published fifteen essays in various journals. His research on Ezra Pound and TS Eliot has been cited in literary publications on these poets.
