Book of Zac

Four stories in verse about a small boy called Zac. His adventures include going to his first football match with his father, falling ill and watching the events on the street outside his house and enjoying a birthday party organised by his much put-upon mother!
Stephen Miles, who wrote these stories for his daughter, modelled his young hero on a real boy. The charm of the text is matched by the fresh simplicity of the images.
