When the stone that lights his dwarves home mysteriously disappears, Martin is chosen to open the Forbidden Door, and sets off on a quest to find it. There are only seven days before the emergency light fails, and the city of Aracaban is plunged into eternal darkness. An unlikely hero, Martin must journey through strange lands, encountering pirates, magical animals, and finally reaching a mythical kingdom of gods and fairies. Is the stone lost for ever and with it the ancient home of the dwarves?
