Yearbook on India's Foreign Policy 1987-88

This series of yearbooks provides a forum for an ongoing discussion and analysis of India's foreign policy. Each volume consists of three sections: a comprehensive review of India's foreign policy concerns during the year; specially commissoned analystical essays on a specific region or country which figured prominently in the conduct of India's foreign policy; and important primary documents relating to the issues discussed.

The fifth volume covers the period January-December 1987. The issues discussed include the AFRICA Fund, nuclear disarmament, a review of the North-South dialogue, relations between India and other South Asian nations and with ASEAN, the Indian Ocean and Indian security and Indo-Soviet economic relations.
