What is the Gospel Truth?

The author claims to be neither a scholar nor a theologian, but this book demonstrates that, in spite of their erudition, many scholarly theologians have not really understood what they were at. What we believe matters and and should be firmly supported by evidence. Too many religious claims lack that reliable evidence. This book establishes what we may regard as Gospel Truth by looking at the data with a dispassionate eye and presents a different and credible picture of the real laughter-loving Jesus, son of Joseph, who gave up his well-rewarded job as joiner-builder to preach about what Jewish belief was actually supposed to be. History may not be bunk but too much of the analysis and comment on it is. This book may not be rewriting History but it is rewriting some of the comment and analysis so as to arrive at the truth.
