The 14 routes in this guide take the walker on a journey to the key sites from Warwickshire's colourful and stormy past. These include the Rollright Stones of Long Compton; the moated manor of Baddesley Clinton; the remains of Brinklow castle; the bloody Civil War battlefield at Edgehill; and the spectacular Hatton Flight of locks on the Grand Union Canal.Each walk has a section of Historical Notes, details of where to park, where to stop for refreshments and a numbered sketch map and corresponding text so that walkers can see at a glance where they are.
