Vision, Modeling, and Visualization 2001

These proceedings include the contributions to the 6th international fall workshop Vision, Modeling and Visualization 2001 held in Stuttgart, Germany. The topics covered are: object localization; subdivision and multi-resolution; volume visualization; rendering applications; multiview processing; scene modelling; shape extraction; motion and multiview processing; object recognition; medical applications; and flow visualization and simulation. The conference was organized by the Visualization and Interactive Systems Group of the Computer Science Department at the University of Stuttgard in co-operation with the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the Gesellschaft fur Informatik GI.
