Mark J. Phillips has been practicing law for thirty-five years with the Law Offices of Goldfarb, Sturman & Averbach in Encino, California, where he specializes in the fields of estate planning and trust and tax law, with certification as an expert by the California State Bar. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of West Los Angeles College of Law, where he teaches courses on trusts and estates. In addition, he is a program lecturer for the National Business Institute, which provides continuing-education credit for attorneys, primarily in the subjects of estate planning, estate administration, and ethics.
