Trapped Particles and Fundamental Physics

Dealing with fundamental physics with trapped particles (ions, atoms, molecules or photons), this book looks at one of the most challenging and promising research fields since the 1990s. The use of particle trapping and laser cooling techniques, together with traditional techniques of atomic physics, represents a powerful tool for investigating a wide range of fields.
