LUDO CUYVERS is Professor in International Economics at the University of Antwerp. He is Chairman of the Department of International Economics, International Management and Diplomacy at the Faculty of Applied Economics and Director of the Centre on ASEAN Studies at the University of Antwerp, and President of the European Institute for Asian Studies.
