Sylvie Patron est maître de conférences en littérature française à l’Université Paris­Diderot-Paris 7. Elle a consacré sa thèse de doctorat à la revue Critique et a publié la première monographie sur cette revue sous le titre « Critique » (1946-1996). Une encyclopédie de l’esprit moderne (1999). Elle travaille depuis plusieurs années sur l’épistémologie de la théorie narrative et le problème du narrateur, et a publié récemment Le Narrateur. Introduction à la théorie narrative (2009).Sylvie Patron is a lecturer in French Literature at the University of Paris Diderot-Paris 7.
