Our society has concern towards Srilankan Tamils but that concern is closely related to our politics and is at times selective. This collection of article written by Pathinathan showcase the life of refugees who came from Srilanka to India. It narrates the various problems of refugees including the strict police vigilance etc. Pathinathan previously wrote an autobiography 'Porin marupakkam' which got attention. Now in this collection he raises strong and emotional question towards our society.
