Tears of Eridanus

History is filled with the names of those who made impactful decisions: Lincoln, Churchill, ... and Kamron Foxx; the one who made the fateful choice of splitting the first interstellar colonists into two isolated settlements and gave each the task of finding the other - a job that would take over 100 years to fulfill. Follow the journey of Foxx from young intern in post-apocalypse Canada, through an interstellar voyage aboard the starship Eritrea, to worshipped and reviled demigod of the people of Sibelius. Also follow the 'torchbearers' as they unwittingly carry the plans for the great starship through the remains of eastern United States as the country roils under the chaos and devastation of sudden, catastrophic sea-level rise.
