The teaching-learning of the process of comprehension of descriptive texts is a prioritized objective in the Basic Secondary School, however, in the pedagogical practice it is revealed that in numerous occasions the students of seventh grade present deficiencies in the levels of textual comprehension, especially in extrapolating the reality presented in the text to other new situations, they do not always assume a critical and reflexive position before the text and present deficient knowledge to create other texts from the read one. In order to fulfill the objective of the research and solve the scientific problem, a system of exercises is offered as a research result from the levels of cognitive, communicative and sociocultural performance, directed to the comprehension of descriptive texts. For the realization of this research, the methods of the theoretical level were taken into account: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical and transit from the abstract to the concrete; of the empirical level methods and techniques such as: the pedagogical test, observation, survey and analysis of documents, of the mathematical-statistical method were used: the percentage calculation, the method of the mathematical-statistical method, the method of the mathematical-statistical method: the percentage calculation, the method of the mathematical-statistical method, and the method of the mathematical-statistical method.
