Outside of the worn out, old west town of Skragmoore, Rhone, our down-and-out teen, and Stone, his unique friend, work to evade the local commissioner's power hungry hands. When Rhone is forced to run he heads to the Badlands, a place named for a very good reason. But an unexpected meeting with the commissioner's men has Stone taken and Rhone left for dead. Now it's up to Rhone to save his friend before it's too late. 

Luckily, the OPR, a government agency, has Commissioner Dodge in their sights, and unknowingly assist Rhone as they work to find evidence of The Commissioner's wrong doings. 

Stone is a fun read, with a story as twisting as the Badlands' passageways. Part western, part survival story, part sci-fi, part adventure/thriller, Stone melds genres seamlessly to give us a riveting and rollicking story of friendship, trust, and adventure, set in an old west you never knew.
