It tells of how they met at Cambridge University and what happened to them personally over a number of years. The book is extremely well written and the characters are very likeable. It is interesting to watch them mature over the years and how their perspective on life changes. At some points, it reminded me of the 'Sliding Doors' film as they both do a lot of reflecting on how their lives would have turned out if they'd made different decisions. Having said this, there are a lot of funny moments in this book and I was laughing out loud a few times.
