Statistical yearbook

This is the 51st issue of this yearbook which contains a wide range of international economic, social and environmental statistics on over 200 countries and areas of the world, compiled from sources including UN agencies and other international, national and specialised organisations. This issue includes data available as of March 2007. Part 1 is a world and regional summary. Part 2 contains population and social statistics, covering: population and human settlements; education; nutrition and childbearing; culture and communication. Part 3 covers economic activity: national accounts and industrial production; financial statistics; labour force; wages and prices; agriculture, forestry and fisheries; manufacturing; transport equipment and transportation services; energy; environment; science and technology, intellectual property.
