Spirit of Fear

Stella is still reeling from the changes and powerful gifts that keep coming to her. From the time she met up with George she's had to face one hit after another because of magic. Magic is something she has pushed away from all her life and refused to believe her mother and sister. Now that she's had to face the truth her whole world changed along with her physical being changing at times. She has never known fear like this before.
Dealing with human cases while she worked on the Police Force kept her grounded for most of her life. Up until that horrific day when she felt forced to resign, Stella always thought she just had a better instinct to guide her. Magic was her mother's fantasy not hers, it wasn't real.
Now the realization that magic played a part without her realizing it, has been a huge hurdle for her. Now that she knows and accepts the magic, to a point, she wonders if that's why she's made quite a name for herself in the Private Investigator career she's chosen. God she hopes not.
Her foster sister-in-law still drops by unannounced and ends up pushing her buttons as usual. She's always been a kick-ass female able to take care of herself no matter what. But for some reason she can't control her anger around Louise. Stella fears she will eventually give her secret away.
The fact that the darker side of magic keeps wanting to attack her and forcing her to use what flows through her veins is still a bit of a struggle and fills her with fear. The feeling of fear is and always will be unpalatable to her. But a battle is coming. Her father has offered to train her in her gifts. But time is running out.
Now that Garrett, her father, has found her and is willing to train her, he is proving very useful and helpful. But this means that George, her husband and the strongest Warlock, is forced to take a backseat to their powers. Having two powerful Warlocks butting heads turns out not to be a good thing.
Like the Witches, more changes happen to Stella, more talents are awakening in her that will change her life forever.
