Yu is a young boy suddenly bestowed with the powers of the Amazing Spider-Man! Can he find his courage in time to save the day? Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is branching out! Welcome to Ohakama City, Japan. Yu, a timid boy who loves to draw manga, is attacked by a villain, only to be rescued by the super hero known as Spider-Man! Despite being defeated, the villain activates a device that merges Yu and Spider-Man together. There's no peace...not even on field trips! While enjoying the beauty of nature on a school trip, Yu and his friends find a villain badge in the trash can, and then have to deal with the surprising effects of it! Not to mention the arrival of a new transfer student. He's freshly back from New York City, great at studying AND sports, and well-liked...but it would appear that he has a secret, too! Yu and Spidey are really in for it this time!
