Photographer Alyson Fox approached 125 women, most of whom had never before had their portrait taken, and asked them to pose for her with one condition: each must wear Revlon Certainly Red lipstick. Fox's lens lovingly captures the individual beauty and passion of each woman. A thought-provoking examination of female identity and a visual pleasure, "Certainly Red" explores how 'putting a face on' for the camera is sometimes the best way to show who you really are.

Alyson Fox is a multi-talented illustrator, designer, and photographer.
