Ribbonwork is stitching a length of ribbon with needle and thread to form a flower, leaf or other design, as a separate individual unit that can be used in wearable art or wall hangings. After the introductory chapters about materials and techniques there are nine chapters filled with detailed instructions to make flowers, leaves and garden accessories, ranging from very simple to quite intricate designs.
