Report on world space week 2007

The publication describes the work of the World Space Week that celebrates the contribution of space science and technology to the betterment of the human condition. Consisting of synchronized outreach and education activities by a myriad of organisations, World Space Week reaches a massive audience each year through both attendance and media coverage and informs the public about the benefits of space while inspiring the workforce of tomorrow. The World Space Week 2007 with the theme "50 Years in Space" was the largest public space event in human history commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Space Age which began on October 4, 1957.
