D. CAMPBELL WYCKOFF is Thomas W. Synnott Professor of Christian Education, Emeritus, at Princeton Theological Seminary. His professional concerns have centered on the church's mission in the United States and on religious education. He has written and taught extensively in the areas of the disciplines foundational to religious education and in the theory and practice of religious education, with a special interest in curriculum study.GEORGE BROWN, JR., is Dean of Faculty and Assistant Professor of Christian Education at Western Theological Seminary. He has more than 20 years experience as a minister/educator and helped design and develop Interpreting the Word curriculum for Christian Education: Shared Approaches during the 1970s. He is the author of numerous articles on Christian religious education.
