Traditional weather forecasts can currently only give around 13 minutes’ lead time for tornadoes spawned by supercell thunderstorms.  The Tornado Early Warning Rule presented for the first time in this book is ground-breaking, as you can now have at least 3 hours’ early warning about a tornadic supercell thunderstorm. The extra warning time will save many lives.
