Practice of Shared Responsibility in International Law

André Nollkaemper is Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law, Universiteit van Amsterdam, Director of the Amsterdam Center for International Law, and Director of the SHARES Research Project. He is president of the European Society of International Law, member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and (external) legal advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Ilias Plakokefalos is Assistant Professor of International Law at Universiteit Utrecht, The Netherlands and Senior Research Associate at the Netherlands Institute for the Law of the Sea. Previously, he was Post-Doctoral Researcher in the SHARES Project at Universiteit van Amsterdam. He has been guest lecturer at the University of Oxford and at Université Catholique de Lille.
