Numeracy for QTLS is written specifically to support and encourage anyone training to teach or currently working in the Lifelong Learning sector in the use of number.

This highly practical and accessible text will not only help you become both competent and confident with numeracy yourself, but will demonstrate how you can pass on these skills to your own learners.

Numeracy for QTLS will help you to:

  • Evaluate the numeracy requirements for your specific role.
  • Assess your own personal numeracy skills and complete an Individual Learning Plan to support further development of key skills.
  • Develop ways to support your learners and help them gain confidence in using number.
  • Find fun and innovative ways of incorporating number into your teaching.
