Dr.Salah Ud-Din Khan is Associate Professor atSustainable Energy Technologies Center, King SaudUniversity, Saudi Arabia.He also gained a position ofFellow at K.A.CARE energy research center atRiyadh. Prior to joining KSU, he served as AssistantProfessor, Visiting Scientist, Researcher, and Lecturerat various institutes and universities. Hereceived his PhD in Nuclear Engineering and gainedhigher achievements in the field of nuclear reactorsafety while conducting an impressive amount ofwork on NK/TH coupling and in reactor core design.His work in designing and simulation of reactors(SMRs) is well proven and has been published inhighly reputed journals. His area of research is broadeningto nuclear desalination, nuclear hydrogen production,nuclear solar hybridization, energy storage, radiological protection, nuclearforensics, and computational techniques for radiation shielding materials.Dr. Khan teaches and supervises postgraduate students of Nuclear/RenewableEnergy at SET Center. He has published more than 150 research articles in reputedjournals and conferences with an accumulative impact factor of more than 250. Heauthored two books and two book chapters. He has one patent on radiation technology,which has been registered by U.S., European, and Saudi patent offices. Dr. Alexander Nakhabov is currently workingas Associate Professor at Obninsk Institute forNuclear Power Engineering of the NationalResearch Nuclear University MEPhI, Russia. Heis a supervisor of educational programs in electronicsand automation of physical installations andnuclear power engineering and thermal physics,deputy head of the Department of Nuclear Physicsand Engineering, and former dean of the Physicsand Power Engineering faculty. National ResearchNuclear University MEPhI is the leading universityin Russia in the education and training of specialistsworldwide for nuclear power plants of Russiandesign and nuclear centers of science and technology.
