Not My Idea

"Lucas, you must return home." That cryptic sentence draws twenty-two-year-old Lucas Bywood home from his Grand Tour. From the moment he steps back in his family home, he finds himself caught in a complicated tangle of events. His mother is struggling to recover from a riding accident. His father has arranged a marriage for him, and apparently everyone in the county knows about it. With a house party in play, Lucas finds himself courting a young woman he doesn't like, a furious best friend who wants a duel to satisfy honor, and the responsibility of finding who and why someone had caused an accident for his mother. This was not his idea of how he was going to spend his summer.
